Rear lamps

Just abit curious to all CLC owners here.

The rear tail lights are the same as the regular 4 doors c class right? in terms of shape and size.

the lights configuration is (from top to bottom) - Red,white,red

when you switch on the lights, is it normal that only the bottom row of red lights up? even when you brake, only the bottom row lights up.

The normal 4 door c class with the top lighted up whenever the ligts are switched on. When you brake, only the bottom lights up.

Please help me confirm on the above, some kind hearted CLC soulsss.....

Hi, I just checked on my car about your query, the results are:

top and bottom light turns on when low bean is on.

When brake, Bottom lights go much brighter and LED strip turns on

When rear fog is on, the top bulb on the right side of the boot lid turns on. I guess the rest of the lights mounted on the boot lid are just for show.

It doesnt seem that our taillights are same as w204 , their are more rounded at the corner.. are you thinking of changing to a w204 LED rear light? haha.

Nope, not wanting to change to W204 ones, if its different its meant to be unique. Like it tat way.

'top and bottom light turns on when low bean is on.' During my low beam, only the bottom is turned on. That was what I was trying to confirm. If this is the case, i think both my bulbs are not working then.

Blackmercs, is yours the same situation too?

No idea coz I hv sold my ride last year. Maybe our bru Darkavenger can advise u if he is reading this thread.

Btw W204 rear cannot fit CLC is different cluster.
