It's takes 5 to 10 minutes to kill u if there is a internal leak. This is the reason why they set it to est 10 minutes or less.

That means other make that never include this 10 mins function are not been very considerate for their customers . So Merc is still the best . Then what abt w204 ? 30 mins as some bros posted . Why Merc never think of their w204 customer's safety ???

Ya uncle that FL W211 very nice looking, especially that exhaust setup. :first:

Just wish Mercs will release new firmware to set with a default of xx minutes to re-circ outside air (and with upper and lower limit so cant off completely eg. min 3 mins max 30mins, still safe enough for drivers), then let user set how many minutes to do so within the limit. Hope it happens as it will help merc sales and image (responsive to customers reasonable request) in a small way.

Oh OT a bit Uncle Seah I have gotten the 13 LED SMD liao. Bright and nice, but too white, makes my 4300k light looks yellowish. Now have to buy 6000k bulb to complement or put back the old single LED. Sian...but expected lah, and I like the new pole light look, very white and bright, just hope 6000k bulb will be the sample color temp...OT out.

Bought this set previously for my FL W211 High Beams!

Sorry guys to OT but I was hoping also for the benefit of other kakies too!

I will make it short here! :hand:

Your High Beams & Low Beams are H7. Your Fogs - Think it's H11.

U can get all the original Philips H7 & H11 from this guy!

With 3 sets, U might have some bargaining power!

However I will advise U not to buy the H11 HIDs for fog lamps cos U have cornering functions. The switching on & off during cornering will cause error msg cos the HIDs cannot turn on/off quick enough.

No error msg if U turn on fully your fog lamps!

For muther of all pole lights - follow Bro Actioneer!

13 SMD 5050 LED - Confirm & Double Confirm Very White & Bright to match your 6000K HIDs - about S$25 a pair with free shipping!

Click link to buy:-

(p.s seller very slow in shipping but will ship)

Unker, my fogs got cornering function? I don't think I've got the intelligent light system leh. Does that mean I'll have no problems with getting the H11 for my fogs?

Sorry for the OT, folks. I believe whatever information shared here is for the good of all! I promise to not go overboard here, probably just a few more posts. :)

Damn good proposal! :) Still, it's dependent on whether the shipment arrives on time. Even if bro DarkAv installs it for free, I think it's good for his business because there'll be more than 30 prospective customers testifying to the quality of work done by his team at StarBlack! :)

Chiaster, my cheapo recommendations:

1. Pole lights: YES, get the muther of all pole lights mentioned above

2. Low Beam: YES, get the Philips H7 since it is such a good deal

3. High Beam: Do you high beam often?? I changed to a cheapo white bulbs just to match the looks. Saw at a workshop recently, they'are selling $25 a pair. Yes, it is $25 a pair.

4. Fog lights: Do you on your fog lights often? If not, $25 a pair should be right, and looks pretty white too.

My 2 jiam....

U had very good points, esp on point 3. Can recommend which shop got pt 3 high beam white bulb for $25 a pair? Since HID is not suitable for High beam due to slow start up. Thanks bro.

It is just an ordinary car audio shop nearby my office. Will pm you the name etc since they are not our site sponsor. Bulbs at all sizes selling at the same price there.

Make sure it's 55W & not any higher hor!

What will happen if it is above 55W?

Some halogen bulbs touted as super white and can be up to 80W to 100W.

That generates lot of heat and at times can melt the holder or even explode in the lamp compartment!

Many years ago - happened to my 1 of my Prado fog lamp with a 100W Halogen bulb.

1 bulb exploded and messed up the fog lamp!

Accessory shop owner compensated me with new fog lamp!:becky:
