The stock C180 1.6L is 156bHP, anyone knows if the car can be re-mapped or tunned to give higher numbers?

I understand remapping is available for higher end Merc (engines) but not sure about this model?

Ive got the sprint booster as well on the W204 fantasic piece of kit. Keep in mind that it doesn not increase HP at all just fools the throttle into thinking you're stepping more on the throttle and your brain into thinking your stepping less on the throttle. Hahhahaha works both ways anyway other throttle controllers will do as well. Go pickup a K&N airfilter as well help the engine brethe a bit easier

most of my ride I didn't bother to increase the hp coz I hardly hit the max. Hence is better to invest on sprint booster to obtain the cheap gain :). The draw back of the spring booster is that yr F/C will spring along too.

Anyway is depend on individual, if u love the 10-20hp gain which cost around $1500 or less than go for it.

Understand This Can Be PROGRAMMED via M/Benz STAR

overwrite ... enrichment ...the FUEL inject Quantity ....

for the SPRING BOOSTER , basically it was an object to CHEAT the THROTTLE VALVE position ....

exmp .... the accelerator position sending a actual valve by 20% acceleration

the actual throttle valve should operated at 20% of opening position

via the SPRING BOOSTER ...

the acceleration of 20% ...... the throttle valve will open at 25% or 30% ... etc

btw, someone is selling Kleemann pulley/k-box/ belt/fuel regulator kit in the private ad folder for M271 engine.

not to forget, you will need bigger brakes also. strong brake hose.

brakes too big, wheels have to be bigger also....

then u need car to be stable also, have to lower down with stronger dampers.

happy modding...

i had my fun on my 1st 2 cars. taking it easy for now...

Bro tud tud, gd memories. Krkrkr. I ve mine as well when i didn't check my rear view mirror while stopping at the traffic light. Next, i blow right infrt of him in my previous ride STI. He (TP) wanna bring me back fr inspection but i ve no fear as my ride was stock. After reasoning w him, gotta fine fr windows film n number plate still. Wat a loser! Was lucky tat i fly up to 60 when tat stretch spd limit was at 70. My friends calls me ah heng! Krkrkr!

btw, any bros here has idea the use of 3-drive pivot fr w204? Mcwell says thsy re bringing. Adv,tx.

The older W203 with the M271 engine came with 3 tunes from the same 1.8L engine. They were C180 (143hp), C200(163hp) & C230(192hp)

At first it was thought that the C230 has a bigger SC than the siblings but it was actually a smaller pulley thus spin faster to give more boost!

The Kleeman K-Box & Pulley Kit came with K&N Filter and a bigger fuel pump for the C200.

With all that extra boost, Kleemann added in Headers and a metallic Cat Con to clear up the exos fast with the higher boost.

Vaeth use to make an intercooler for these rides and I believe they still do!

Oil cooler & fuel cooler too!

if 3-drive pivot can be installed, that means Apexi Neo can go in also?
