Stiff horn

Do you find that your steering wheel horn is very hard to depress?

I can't just whack mine to give a gentle warning toot. I have to put my hand on the horn and push quite firmly, so I end up horning less frequently (eg if someone is drifting into my lane, I would usually give a gentle tap on the horn with one finger in my old car, but not for my C class.

Anyone with the same problem?

Its not a problem its a good thing i think .... less peeps using their horn for every lil thing is quite iratating. Horns should be used in an emergency only.

Agreed, but I think that's more a problem with mentality, not whether your horn is easier to depress or not. It becomes a safety issue if you can't use your horn when you need to. I've been in some close shaves because I'm not able to quickly give a gentle warning that "I am here".

This is Singapore, not Delhi or Beijing, and I think our horning levels are very good (compared to our driving skills/attitude).

i use my horns like my signal ... Beep Beep. esp on those articulated buses.

Those drivers drive with their eyes in their backside when they drive out of the bus bay. but can't blame them.

so easy to use when it is well season.
