What about "overtrade" for your exsisting car ? The listed price is S$163,888 ? You have to look at it as a overall package. No point going to look for another SE as I believe your SE has keyed in your details and even if any other SE close the deal with you, your SE will get the commission.

I think the SE can do better, i think price a little hard to press try asking for more accessories and asked for better brand/grade of solar firm. I did not take the reserve cam but ask for Huper Optik solar firm. I had some service credits but it will depends on the overall package that you are being offered.

Yes got overtrade, but I think quite normal that any SE will quote this price.

Other than overtrade got huper otiks, reverse cam, tailpipe.

SE refuse cuz of the overtrade saying it is very high already!

Go look at this thread ... a lot of information sharing.... on the prices paid. Bro Chiaster's deal seems to be one of the best. Check out this thread.

Just curious, what is the netted price now for the C180K 1.6 BE ?

Overtrade is a crap theory & is a marketing gimmick. How much U think yr car worth in the real world? Offer to yr dealer or ask him to swallow it. No point ping pong here & there if the price is not right & most importantly is the new car worth dying for? If yes, just do it. If you comparing the past pricing & thinking that you will able to get it, this is not going to happen. So concentrate on yr trade in car & freebies.

Usually, car traded in to C&C will be offered a price by Republic Auto. Assuming that RA offered 50k for your car and the SE offered 58k, the overtrade amount is 8k.

I am sure the SE would know what is the price that RA offered, any amount above would be your overtrade. However, do take note that the price offered would be lower compared to the prices that you see in the market as RA would need to make some profit as well.

Alternatively, tell the SE the target selling price that you are looking at and let him make an offer to you.

Last Sun 1st time walked into the blue propeller showroom.

Told promotional prices are the prices without loan.

Beside not offering freebies, the SE tried calling 2 used car dealers and said my car is only $185k.

Told him thank U & bye bye

I went there a couple of times too and sat in a few 3series and even the 6series. Nobody even came close to greeting me. Maybe because I looked young and was in casuals. Then again, I'm not a fan of BMW though so no loss to me.

Anyone have any idea what is the OMV for the current batch of C180k? Was told it is in the range of 35k but LTA avg was 31k.

Are the C180k still produced in Germany?

C180K BE OMV should be between 31k to 32k. Just curious who is the one to mention to you that the OMV is 35k ? Trying to smoke you ?

The C180K should be made in Germany...

I also thought he was trying to smoke me, but he said he just checked the current shipment and it is about 35k. Cuz I told him I checked LTA website the previous batch avg was 31k to 32k.

Is the SE willing to put that in B&W in the sales agreement? If OMV does turn out to be 31k, the $4k diff in OMV translates to $9k in selling price. Would he give u that as a discount later?

OMV may vary +/- $300-$500 or so due to exchange rates. But $4k?....confirm smoke.
