anyways to turn off the head lights?

so you guys have it on all the time?

???

You cant turn off your headlights ???

There is a switch on the right side of the steering wheel. Put to 12 o'clock and its off.

Unless you have the daylight running lights enabled .... then go thru the menu on your steering control, to disable it.

Some batches of W204 do not have "0" at the twelve o'clock position of the switch to turn off the headlights. As such, the headlights will be on "A" mode by default. Kindly correct me if I'm wrong. :)

Correct that some of the C class CGIs has the "0" at its 12o'clock.

For the rest, you either have it the same as bro Chiaster or, you have the "A". The latter one means that headlights function are fully automatic and you cannot switch it off.

For a short period only. I think Bro Chiaster's should be the last few batches. They stop offering C180 CGI in sep'10, I think.

I signed the papers just before the 2nd bidding of COE in August 2010. At that time, my CGI was the only black/black they had left as existing stock. Registered on 1st October only because I had to wait for the aerodynamic kit and also for them to do the nano sealant on the car. C&C didn't offer anymore C180 CGI after that.

Could it be the parking lights? Maybe the switch is spoilt. Get it fixed at C&C, mate.

I prefer the "kicked back in your seat" feeling when the turbo comes alive. Heh.

That's because most of our cars start off from a standstill in gear 2 instead of gear 1 like most odinary cars when in comfort mode. Switching it to sports mode make the car select gear 1 try that.

A mod you can try is the sprint booster which I have on my car awesome mod but a lot of guys here will say does not add power lah just step the accelerator harder also can and so on. However the proof is in the pudding as they say try it out for yourself and see.

A good air filter like K&N will also help your car feel better as it can breath easier

Lolz i wonder why C&C didn't dump this model!! They shld concentrate on the CGI model which has better pick up & F/C too.

The specs and price for the C200 CGI and C180 CGI will be too close and it would be difficult to create a differentiation between the 2 models.

C&C is smart to bring in the C180K 1.6 Kompressor to take advantage of the cheaper CAT A COE and they would be able to price it very competitively against the A4 or 318i. I would say that it is a very good strategy by C&C.

C&C are getting better profit margin selling the C180K and the C180K is their volume selling. Based on the current price list, there is a different of 40k between the two models. I believe the net different between the 2 models would be around 20k. In terms of value for money, C200 CGI is a better deal as C&C makes less profit but there is the addditional 20k to pay for the C200 CGI compared to the C180K.

A lot of websites have not update the C180 to C180K and they are still using the same specs for the C180 CGI. C180 CGI is rare breed as they are sold for only about 6 months before C&C decided to bring in the C180K from Oct/Nov last year.

It would be interesting to see which engine they will bring in for the FL model.

by this last quarter the whole ball game will change as new models will be here. Hope they will dump the kompressor model & concentrate on CGI.

I thought it's the other way round ? Kompresor should have a longer lack and the whining sound. Actually, which is better for low end torque ?
