Done my 30K two weeks ago at Alexandra. Mine is C180 BE.

Done my homework and write a NOTE and pass to SA, told them following:

1) Just do Service A (Shell Helix oil)

2) Dont do following:

Rotate tire (did outside)

Change airfilter (Change myself - C&C charge $150 )

Change cabin air filter (change myself - C&C charge $162)

No need top up Wiper (haha- C&C still charge me $5.00 for sundry, ok la)

Total Bill $380.00

I keep my receipt for the OEM filter I brought just in case.

PS: I learn from one Bro here on above. Yes you can tell them Service A even thought car due for Service B.

LoL I've got 2 of the oem air filter as I'm using the K&N air filter. Didn't know can save $150 from that woots

Wipers: C&C charges some $140plus. Stockist charges $50+$70 around there.

Air filters: Buy a K&N which is less than $100 per piece. Last you long time compared with OEM paper ones.

Oil filter: IIRC, OEM ones from stockist about $19. C&C charge you some $38, if I'm not wrong.

Cabin or Dust filter also can change outside to save $$.

Bro Clear Vision's vision is really clear!! :becky:

Changing of Cabin Air Filter (Dont confuse with engine air filter)

1) Its just below the Glove compartment.

Must lie on the floor to see it. When you look upward towards it, there a light bulb that will "blind" you. So i pasted a tape over the bulb it so that i can see the screw.

2) There are total 3 Torx screw to remove (size 25) not Phillip screw driver. Dont used Phillip screw driver as its will damage the Torx screw. Can buy from any hard ware shop.

buy those with several sizes.

3) Lower the plastic panel after removing the screw. BUT you cant totalling remove the panel as electrical cable is still attached to the Bulb as mentioned above. So just lighly rotate and disconnect the bulb together with holder from the plastic cover. (very easy) but dont break the bulb or holder.

4) There are two small steel clip that hold the filter by the side. Remove these two clip and push the White color "T" shape plastic toward your left hand and lower the filter.

There is a detailed procedure at BenzWorld Forum BUT its hows left hand drive car. Just do the opposite.

I try to get the link.

Good luck

Clear Vision, THANKS for detailed instructions. Will try.

Am doing 30k next week, and wah lau, they need 1 1/2 days. I asked what they'll be doing, and all the things seemed like standard stuff. YET they take 1 1/2 days.
