on a serious note.... i fail to understand why would upsizing the rims cause the brushing sounds compared to stock size rims..... since both would have the approx the same diameter (rims + tire), in fact, I believe the 19" + tire would be slightly smaller.

On the contrary, when U upped the rims size - dia should be unchanged but the tyres are wider and if with the right rims offset, there should be no rubbing even when springs are lowered.

In real life - to have perfert i.e rims+tyres+offset+lowered springs combination at times is not as easy as it looks. :becky:

the rubbing is from the felt materials. Did u look for ah lye at Amk?? Go & see him before spending yr hard earn money unnecessary.

I tot of going ah lye for fender roll but looking on the underside at the arch, my rims is actually slightly protruding out of the arch, thus when body meets tyre, no fender roll can help. I did fendor roll on my wrx before too. But this case, it wont work i guess.

Pics talk :). Yr tyres protrude out of the fender by alot or only few mm?? If there any fender marks on the rear tyre after the rubbing?
