Installation of SmartTop

Hi bros,

I have recently shipped in my own SmartTop module for the R171, thinking I can actually install the module on my own. However, it seems the feat is beyond me, as such I was wondering if anyone of you would have any idea which workshop I can turn to for help? Thanks a ton!

Just installed my SmartTOP at autospritz this morning. Service was impeccable; thanks for your rec! Anyway, the device is really useful. I can finally cease to be a part-time weatherman! cheers!

I got the module direct from the US through an eBay merchant for less than 400SGD. So the total module + install cost was less than 500SGD for me. Let me know if you need me to pass you more details.

i done mine at MBM.......but sometime the opening will jam half way, don't understand why, sent back and check found no problem at all. I find it useful as i don't need to stop the car to close the top.

I have not experienced such problems thus far. You may want to take a relook at the settings. Let me know if you need further help. Willing to share my ten cents' worth.

Check the firmware of the module. There might be a new version for updating! If problem still there, contact Mods4cars.com. They can remotely resolve your problem...:thumb:
