about the Mercedes-Benz E.T.S.system

I think is Good For the Benzer to refer ...

basically this ETS system ... work as ASR vervion V

The E.T.S. is an automatic system for improving the startup

and the accelaration capabilities particularly on roads with varying traction conditions.

The Spinning of 4 drive wheels is limited or controlled by a brake intervention.

The basic components for ABS and ETS are consolidated in the ETS hydraulic Unit.

The ABS and ETS circuits are also combined in the ETS electronic module

....

ABS

prevent the wheels from locking up when brakes are applied....

ETS

prevent the driven wheels from spinning when driving off

and accelarating whitin prescribed speed ranges.....

Advantages

. Improved startup and acceleration capabilities resulting

from increased traction on road with vary traction conditions

. Improved stability in curves

. A warning lamp signal when one of the wheel speeds does not coincide with the vehicle speed,

warning the driver that the vehicle is approaching the physical limit for safe driving
