warranty extension

Hi there anyone knows if it is possible for a warranty extension from C&C say to 5 years? If so how much will it cost?

I have asked c&c this as well, but they do not offer warranty extension.

Alternatively, you can buy a warranty package up to another 5 years with TWM after your current warranty with c&c expires. I just did mine, came with 1 free servicing and 1 air con maintainence package free.

I paid TWM $2100 for a 5 years warranty. MBM is one of the panel where I could service and do warranty claim.

this is a very good news for my answer. Will check it out. But the 5 years extension will cover everything ? Or just specific items?

I think the coverage is post on khang automotive website on Silver Warranty.

They will do an extremely comprehensive inspection on your car. Since, I have gone through this lengthy inspection might as well take up the max warranty.

My advise for bros whose warranty is expiring, go to TWM to do the comprehensive inspection, it's FOC. With the list, do up your last bits of warranty claims before it expires. Then sign up with TWM.

Just got my TWM. Yet to try. But based on one friend who bought few months before me on his Beemer, he did couple of claims without issue.

Apologies for the dumb question but what does "TWM" stand for?

Its stand for Transmission Warranty Membership..I think so...but on my Warranty Booklet, the company name is called Kar Engineering...apparently they own Khang Auto.

He bought from khang in sin Ming....but not sure which panel he went to do the claim.

called up C&C and they told me no warranty extension but the strange thing is from their own pre owned car division they do offer the 1 year warranty extension if you buy it from them. Hmm .....

Asked that question too when my warranty is near expiry...was told they used to offer once few years back.

Think the warranty extension + 1 set of brake pads and brake servicing is for Republic Auto to help them push for sales...their pre-owned mercs is more expensive than other car dealers.
