questions about the next-generation C63 AMG, like whether or not it will receive the new twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter in place of its current naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8. According to EvoCars, only the new C63 AMG Coupe will receive the 5.5-liter engine, matching the CL63, S63 and CLS63 AMG. We are certain that with either engine, the C63 AMG will be a powerhouse and remain one of our favorites.

What I don't understand is this...if BMW can build a sub 5sec car that is under 4 litre (M3) or 5 litre (M5), Porsche the same with a 4.4L Turbo (Panemera), Audi a 3L twin-turbo (S4) or 4.2L (RS 5) why can't Mercedes build a more ecologically friendly engine that would give blistering performance in a non-supercar

Btw by supercar I mean the likes of a Lambo, Merc SLS AMG or Audi R8.

Simple, Mercs have never been known as an enthusiast driver's car for it has problem planting down all the power onto tarmac & very much left to be desired in the handling dept.

Mercs have always been known to be a Gentlemen cruiser on the freeway or for our case (NS highway). It has oddles of low end torque that makes over taking when on the move a breeze. If you asks too much of the merc (in my case, C63) then expect to be part of the scenery
