W212 Comand System

Hi everyone,

I am interested to purchase a set of comand system from the internet for my W212. Can I check if anyone have done that and install it here in Singapore? Any problem getting Singapore map and the cost of installation. Thank you for you help.

U just can't go out there to buy a set of Command and retrofit it into your car.

Beside knowing how to wire it up, U also need to do the ecu coding for the car to accept the Command.

Buying Command set from the net without knowing the origin of the set might even get the Command totally "locked up" after hooking it up.

Anyway, I m in the midst of installing Command NTG4 in my W212 with the latest 2010 South East Asia Map.

Will let U know how it turns out eventually!:hand:

Yes! My car is from C & C!

Installing the Command + After Mkt Multi Media Interface

will definitely void the warranty on the Audio 20 system which is no more there.

I've also retrofitted AMG flat bottom Steering wheel with paddle shifts too.

I retrofitted the after mkt MMI & Steering wheel in the 1st month of ownership.

Put in sport pedals, LED Licence Plate bulbs and replaced all interior & boot light bulbs to white LEDs. Change my Bi-Xenon to Phlips D1S 6000k H.I.D bulbs.

Guess what will happen if there's a short circuit in the lighting system and the car caught fire.....OMIGOD!!!!.......hehehehe!

Unker actually do some homework before goin in with eyes open!

Unker, will those paddle shift work...??? Like using the fingers more than flicking the wrist...

I was quoted steering from BL for $3k+

I brought it in brand new myself for <$2k

Need 1 day to instal & wired it up!

Peforated 3 spokes Nappa leather grip & flat bottom to clear our big thighs....hahaha!

Bro don't worry of warranty for the comand as C&C will corver for your stock unit ( audio 20 ) , but C&G (Camber53 & Gregory )will corver you warranty of the retrofit of comand for 1 year ..

Your steering came tailor made for your smaller drum stick thighs - so C&C tailor ordered your steering with complete round shape....saw U using your paddle shifts to horn people......hehehehe!
