Order from apple store would be a good option if you dont with to pay a little more premium and it will reach you most by 2 week although it stated 3 week.

Local open market should be selling 16GB - $950 32Gb - $1150

This is another PI / AD issue hahaaa.....

Thinking of ordering from apple.com.sg as well... just wondering what is the exchange policy? Would love the convenience of not having to waste time traveling and squeezing with crowd.

If get from the shops, at least can check on the spot the LCD and defects....reject until you are happy.

you will be dealing with Apple direct and if any problem i m sure they should hv some return policy in place...send back to AMK i suppose...

Q-ing up at Hello shop is a madness and they are only allocated with 10 - 15 units a day...siao :tsk:

Why AMK Bro Lightning?

Thought Apple Products esp. Suffle/iPod/iPhone/iTouch/iPad are assembled in China by Foxconn - Hong Hai.

Thought service & repairs are done by their provider located on Level 2 wheelock place?

if i m not wrong...the Wheelock shop 2nd level you are referring to Epicentre and they are just another Apple reseller...however, if you buy from Apple directly, from my understanding u need to send back to Apple office @ AMK/Yio Chu Kang for servicing or repair...

Not that one lah but another section/counter next to the reseller.

I sent in 2 shuffles bought on-line for repairs under apple warranty.

Saw people sending in other apple products for service/repair too.
