Hi, new here, just wonder anyone here still waiting for their E class delivery from C & C?

I placed an order from C&C for my dream car E250 coupe since sept, but was told to wait till dec/jan. Just feel frustrated everytimes I saw this model on the road . Only good thing is COE is shooting up every month, but they have already secured a COE for me recently.

Got my E250 coupe from a PI with ready stock in Aug.

One of the main reason was Cycle no stock at that time and if book gotto wait for abt 4-5months.

Of course the other main reason was price for spec.

Dun worry, the car is worth the wait.

Enjoy.....

Hi,

There are a few range from PI right? Sport, avantgarde, etc. Mind to share how much you paid for your E250 coupe?

Did made a comparison from SG carmart earlier, understand that C&C came with keyless and passenger memory seat and of cos the C&C servicing & warranty.

But PI come with rear aircon, stabiliser suspension, more air bags and of cos cheaper.

Hi,

I am expecting my E200 Cab next month from C&C too. Planing to boost up the engine rather then paying 20K more for the E250.

I thought of that when I was purchasing my previous W203.

C180 or C200 and I ended up with the same thoughts of not paying more.

I went on a futile chase to get the extra horses.

IMHO if the extra power is really required, it's easier to pay for it.

Merc is unlike Volkswagen or Audi where U can reflash the ecu easily for more power. The ECU I was told is locked!

Have anyone use the MKB Performance Module System? I heard that it would get you an extra 30bhp without massing up your ECU.

IMHO,

not much diff. from Brabus or similar to previously Kleenann K Box piggy back for the SC M271 engine.

Probably in "ideal conditions" beside weather & temp. U get 30 Hp at the crank.

In our hot climate my guess will be as good as yours how many horses U get eventually at the wheels.

Further to that the piggy back will likely to lose some low end torque to achieve the improvement Hp at a higher rpm.

there is a TMC http://www.tmcmotorsport.com/CarProducts.aspx also selling the chiptuning box for W212 now.

Output is e200 CGI:

KW PS NM

Standard: 135 183 270

Tuned: 169 230 311

I am planning to get one for my home e200 CGI through the VW forum GB through a local importer. Cost is 600.

If anyone is interested, you are welcomed to join there too.
