Hey folks, I could have been mistaken but other than the AMG brake kit for the C-Class, I remember seeing another brake kit somewhere with titanium calipers and "Mercedes-Benz" imprinted on it. Could have seen it at the showroom or something before I signed for the car. Does anyone have any impression? Or does anyone know what I'm talking about and where I can get it? Many thanks! :)

Hi Chiaster,

there's a sports version variant or at least a 350 and above will have that caliper.

cheers

So, I wasn't seeing things. Thanks, bro. :)

Any idea where I can get this for my w204? Will it be just the calipers or does it come in a complete set for the sports variant?

Bro Cerano, is there a part number for this? :)

Hi Chiaster,

yup, you are not seeing things........lolz

why not buy over an used set of AMG BBK.....understand there's a bro selling of...hope it can fit your ride......

Alternatively you can try Benzline or MBM or C&C...those brakes you saw are basically the same rotol size, it just that: it is slotted / cross-drilled rotol plus nicer caliper.

cheers

I'm not looking at AMG. Benzline don't have these either. Will drop by MBM to check if they have it. Last stop will be C&C because I think it will cost a bomb from them.

Any bros here know the part number of the mentioned brake kit?

Thanks for sussing that out, bro! :)

Unfortunately, I'm looking for a new set that includes front and rear. Don't believe in getting used products especially when it comes to the safety and handling components of the car. Besides, the kit I saw seems to be 4pot instead of the 2pot like the one that's being sold 2nd hand in that thread.

If anyone knows where I can get this, please kindly point me in the right direction! Thank you! :)

I know what you are referring to..It's a 4 pot titanium caliper with Mercedes Benz imprint. The rotors are slotted with holes for better cooling. My W204 from C&C came with this uprated brakes becos of the whole AMG package. Not sure whether C&C bring this in separately...should check with them. I'll be glad to show my car to you for clearer picture.:becky:

C&C would be the most obvious answer or try the local merc stockist for brand new sets. Do a search for the local stockist been asked and answered before

I don't think the prices will be too far off from the W212.

C&C has quoted my W212 AMG Sport brake set similar to the design in the discussion.

The quoted price was $1725 per PC x 2 before GST & lead time is 1 to 2 mths.

Still has not add in the instal charges!

Hi bro, managed to retrieve a pic which I took before the car was delivered to me. Hope this helps...http://i1040.photobucket.com/albums/b410/tang8038/Merc/08062010129.jpg

Thanks for that, bro. :) Now, at least I'll have a picture to show the stockists and see if they have it. It seems that there are 2 different brake kits being shown here. 1 is from Bro vratenza which looks like a "fiercer" 4pot caliper and with normal rotors, while Bro jtang's appears to be a 2pot with slotted/drilled rotors. It would be great if I can find a set that comes with the "fiercer" 4pot calipers together with the slotted/drilled rotors. Let's see if I have any luck when I visit our local stockists. Thanks again, fellas. :)

Bro, those are exactly what I'm looking for. Nevermind the rotors. Where can I get them? Many thanks!

Sorry, the one pictured is from a picture I borrowed from the web. My caliper is exactly the same as in the picture but it is a factory specified stock part for my car.

Try the Merc stockist: Golden link (i like their service and they are patient with my enquiries:becky:)

My suggestion: print out the picture i posted and enlarge the caliper part, bring to the stockist and ask them to check for the factory stock front calipers for W203 C350

*note: your rims may need to change if you install this larger caliper as it need bigger rim clearance.

*note also: the stock brake pads for this caliper generate alot of brake dust...my silver rims turns to gun metal colour within a few days after each wash........ but on the other hand, the stopping power is amazing...comparable to my Endless mini 6 pot in my last car
