Hi.

C180 does not come with memory seats, and C&C charges $5,400 for this option. :tsk:

Any after-market options to consider ? Appreciate your advice.

Thanks ... Red Devil

you could try retrofitting it bro

however it is rather complex as alot of the door panels have to be stripped for rewiring + the seat

I just booked the C180K, was driving the 320i with memory seats. As i am the only driver, i never use the memory seats. It really depends on whether you have different drivers for the car.

Agree with the other comments that you should have gotten the C200 if you "must" have the memory seats.

Cheers

I din bother or value the memory seat till my wife complains shes pregnant and need a lower and wide inclination so as not to compress our little prince. lunch with colleagues and customers (more up right position) or with parents.

neither will switch to their default position after leaving. should have gotten the the c200. in this case, if theres a cheap retrofit option, i would strongly consider or "lun" for 2 more months till wife give birth... hehe.

Hi to another ex 320ian :becky:. I made the exact same transition except I got the C180 CGI and not the Kompressor.

Didn't miss the memory seats being the only driver 99% of the time. What I did miss was the "fold down left mirror upon reversing" thingy. But I think it's too much trouble to retrofit this.

Hi there,

Glad to see someone else making the same switch .... I am sure that I am going to miss the drive of 320i. The fold down left mirror is very useful and I did not know that it is not a feature for the C180. I will check with the SE on the cost to retrofit this feature.

By the way, the C180 CGI is no longer available and C & C brought back C180 Kompressor. The C200 CGI would be a much better drive but it is out of my budget.

Well, I must say that the 320i handles slightly better when you are really pushing it through corners hard, but otherwise I would say any differences are slight. Steering feel in the 320i is very nice. The C180 CGI engine is way better than the NA inline 4 in the 320i though, not to mention the interior.

I'm not sure if C&C will do this retrofit for the mirror, probably have to do it outside.

Tilting Mirror on right side can't be done locally. Hopefully I m wrong coz many w204 owners are dying to mod it!!

The ride will have 3 drivers - myself & wife for weekdays (forsee will scissors-paper-stone with her every morning to see who drives which car today), and my dad for weekends. Thus thinking would be good with memory seats. Anyway if I wanna consider factory fit also not possible, 'cos SE mentioned need to order from Germany, not locally fitted one

Also thought of getting a 3rd key, but was told $600+ for a key ... drop the idea also
