Hi All At SGMERC....

I think i might be the latest owner here...

Juz collected my E-klasse baby E200 CGI Advangrade on Wed 20.10.2010... PI unit Tenorite Grey on Beige....

Now Backside itchy and looking out for stuff to add on... So far, ordered grills, pedals, embelem and some other small items...

Changed the Rims (18s') and did some tinting to the car... Car is in the workshop for some exhuast tips now...

Im noob to the forum and Merc, Im wondering how do I switch on the headlight washer and can I fix on a Start/Stop button to the new car...

Read about some chip up online and wonders if anyone can head me to the right direction of getting it done...

Thanx in advance to the gurus here...

Not love to mod la... itz juz need some power to do overtaking...

If just simply for over taking a sprint booster will do the job. Not too sure available for W212 but one thing for sure, yr fc will increase. Yrs is a sedan model rite?

Thanx Thanx, Yup mine is a Sedan...

On my humble knowledge, Sprint booster will be good for cars with a more linear type of accelaration... like in the W211 where SC is the key... Will it work for this current TC...??

Im looking more towards Remapping the ECU, maybe gaining more torque than BHP... Can Kleesmann Kbox do the trick here...??

Dun get me wrong, Im not some boyracer but im looking towards a smoother everyday drive... Maybe punching the car now and then...

Juz my thought, a noob with cars...

SB only amplify your signal response when U step on the gas pedal and no actual increase in power or torque.

There's no K Box which is a piggy back currently available from Kleemann for the W212 CGI.

There're piggy back solutions from Brabus & MKB.

IMHO, the $$$ spent is not worth what U get at the wheels & likely to be <10 bhp at the wheels and possible loss in low end torque till U hantam it over 3000rpm.

Just too bad that the MB ECUs are locked and not easily to remap.

Even nowadays Audi & Volkswagen ECUs are locked and after mkt remaps unless tuners like mTm and or ABT are flashed back to stk when owners sending in their rides for servicing or firmware updates.

Some local tuners have resort to taking out those ECUs to do remap.

Fried ECUs can be scary!

If someone out there can do a remap for the W212 CGI like an Audi or Volkswagen with increases of >50 hp from a simple ECU remap, I would do it too. :becky:

If for overtaking using the "manual shifts" is too slow for response, U can add paddle shifts for some quick shifting too.

Bro, run-in the engine not yr fuel tank. w212 is at least 1500 km :) yrs does not comes with the dynamic package which can give u at least some push!! Maybe u can go & register the brabus event organise by first auto our site sponsor.

Now You got me ticking, what dynamic package...???

Im looking towards another tuner who had tried and tested remapping the ECU... I may just jump into it and give it a try... Heehee...
