C&C or PI for E250 Cab?

Anyone can advise? PI gives a better deal of $218000, 1 bid COE

AMG package, Built-in GPS, Vkool, Reverse Camera, No Keyless

C&C $259888,

Gamin GPS, no AMG, No reverse cam, Keyless, Solar film, overtrade of $4750 more.

Anyone please? I buying 2 of these E250 Cab.

just kidding.

putting aside the usual PI vs. AD talk:

1) no keyless go, i can't live with that

2) no reverse camera+gps, easy to retrofit (cost must less than that gap!)

3) amg kit... hmmm includes the active suspension or something?

Buying 2 Cabro?? Cool, get one from PI & C&C, problems solved!! Do a search in the forum, all the answer is there!!

I did but the more i read the more confuse i am. After talking to PI and AD, each trying to badmouth each other, the worst i become. I didn't know buying a car can be so stressful. AD mention warranty is an issue if I buy from PI, PI say no problem.

Is there a keyless E250 Cab from PI? I haven't seen one that has. Blackmerc, you driving a E250 Cab right? Can save me from all these? :hand:

Yup I like the keyless feature. I don't know if there is an active suspension. Actually I put a small downpayment at the PI on the spot after viewing the car. My friend also place a downpayment. We are prepare to lose the deposit if buy from AD is better. But AD don't have AMG, need to wait 8 months, by the time, maybe I think already sianz half.

Bro Backmercs did many months of homework of PI vs AD for his Cabrio even before the E Cabrio hit the showrooms in SG.

He's definitely the man to tok to!

On the PI inbuilt GPS & Reverse Camera, I believe it's a local retrofit with after market Multi Media Interface (MMI) which I have also currently fitted

to my C&C E250 too.

With that after mkt MMI, U get also add in DVD and I've also added Digital TV too.

Keyless is 1 feature my wife and myself cannot live without it. :becky:

The PI offfered me E250CGI Sedan AMG Sport Package with Panaroof for <$196k

The same AMG Sport Package with Panaroof from C&C was >$250k.

C & C couldn't get me the AMG Sport Package and or Pana Roof within 3 to 6 months.

I LL took up their Avantgarde option for $226k+ and foregoing the goodies on the AMG Sport Package and Pana Roof mainly just for the Keyless, Media Interface (iPod/USB/Aux in), Rear Electric Blind, manual rear side Blind & a peaceful sleep at nite. :becky:

GPS is factory fitted, interface done in singapore. Everything is factory fitted

Does your PI Factory fitted HU is COMMAND NTG4 with 7" LCD screen with a slot in the NTG4 for PCMCIA Card adaptor for SDCard or it's Audi 20 with a 5.8" LCD screen?

No one in Singapore can retrofit a COMMAND NTG4 and do the ECU Coding. - Not even C&C.

U can tell me what maps your GPS will be running and I can tell U what U have.

Please go & ask your PI how to do your map updates in the future?

Lots of PI out there are using after market locally fitted MMI to fit Garmin GPS GVN53 playing through the OEM 5.8" LCD screen & Reverse Camera.

Some are using Window CE based MMI using Aigis Maps & Reverse Camera.

Buying something >$200k, dont stress yourself unless you got very good relationship with the PI.

Enjoy your waiting and go make the $30K diff before your car are delivered.
