Thinking of swapping my C for the E.

Both have the creamy V6 and 7Gtronic gear. The C is the current new model and touted to be a driver oriented car, and E the typical qualities of comfort, more space, etc albeit previous model. Understand it is perhaps not a good comparison as they belong to different segments and hence pitched accordingly. But that is what car companies like for their customers to move up their products.

Question and dilemma (besides the top-up needed), is that are there substantial enough factors to make the leap, considering the fact that the E is at least a decade or more old in design and conceptualization (and the technological improvements in the C since then)? Price-wise the E200 is closer to the C230 and the choice would have been easier to make if needed to sacrifice the engine and transmission.

Will be interested to hear views from owners of these models. Ty.

have you try on E class before? you may help you to make a better decision. for me, c class is too small for whatever model in the c-range.
