Hi,

Anyone heard rumours what might change for the 2011 model update for E (W12)? So close to end of year now, keen to know if maybe the 7 speed is coming.

I cannot confirm the 7speed on the E250cgi.

However, looking at MB websites of other countries, there is a different look to the advantgarde model. See link below.

I wonder if this is the 2011 look of the w212 advantgarde.

Opinions anyone?

Heard over US site that the 2011 will do away with the "hockey stick" DRL for the E250 avantgarde and replaced them with straight DRLs like the new C.

However they are keeping the "hockey stick" DRL for the E63AMG :becky:

Personally I like the "hockey stick" DRL, they are rather unique than the straight ones which look more "ordinary" like some after mkt DRK and like a after design thought.

IMHO

If U are driving infront of a E250 avantgarde at night and look into your rear view mirror, the E250 headlamps look like a pair of eyes and the hockey sticks look like a mouth with a angry growl! :becky:
