Does anyone have any idea if the sports seat on the AMG sport package has a colour option other than black?

It has many colour options depending on the rest of the interior. It also has 2-tone options and Designo premium leather options.

With intentions to get C&C E250 advantgarde with amg sports package. My SE said NO seat colour option. It leaves me very concerned as i do not want black seats.

Regards 2-tone options, SE mentioned trimmings ONLY in black ash wood which comes with the advantgarde model.

Clearly the word "Designo" is not discussed in Singapore. It is ALWAYS available and comes in Duo colours.

Regardless of what you are advised, the official policy of Mercedes is that all countries are able to order Designo.

The other alternative is to fly to Germany and order the car at the factory. Then come back later on and take delivery of it. They will arrange for transport to Singapore.

Indeed, Designo is only mentioned when requested upon. However, it comes at a premium.

The final decision is to have the amg sport seats replaced with standard advantgarde seats.

It's an interesting thought travelling to Germany for car selection. It will certainly be a very complete Mercedes experience!

The AMG Sport seats are supposed to be multi-contoured seats and extra

seat adjustments located near the centre console.

Am wondering how about the re-wring of the seats between the sport seats and std avantgarde seats

Usually the difference is air bladders and leather panels to work in conjunction with air bladders.

I didn't know there's such feature in the amg sports seat! Just thought the sports seat snugs closer to the body as compared to the normal one...:shocked:

Designo does provide a choice of additional colours but does it give option for colour selection for amg sports seat??

- Sports shape (deeper)

- Memory

- Heated (in some countries)

- Multi-contour

- Nappa Leather with Alcantara

Then it CAN come with a different colour insert (where you sit and the middle of the back). Very rarely does it come with a full interior colour such as Alapaca Grey

For example, my AMG W203 seats are

- alpaca grey

- memory

- sports

- heated

- nappa leather with alcantara

The Designo is either single tone or two tone with amazing colours. Yes you can have Designo inside an AMG car. It's over the top cool.

You can add the leather later if you want to. It is about 5K a seat.

Needs cool cash to be be over the top cool. Such a case, i will not consider the designo option...will check with SE again for the sports seat of my choice colour!!
