Am long time reader of this forum.

just placed a booking with c&c ^^

what can I expect? What other gifts (besides the standard, floormat, reverse cam,gps) can we bargain for?

AMG kit too much to ask?

sorry, its a C180 CGI @163,888, been waiting for quite a while for this model since last year. Crazy working schedules, sanity returned, shortly with only last few days free to shop....

I understand it would be tough after the sales was done, but, i thot i could just ask around. ^^ So anyone has a good bargain?

Like you, am new here but have been a long time reader too (> one year)!

I collected my C180 CGI in June. Sounds like similar kind of deal but I understand now there's some discount offered for the Remarkable Drive Promo?

I also got floor mats, solar film, etc from my SE. From what I understand, Merc accessories very ex (like almost $10k for AMG bodykit). So no point asking for this kinda thing.

More important is the trade in price (overtrade) and the service credits I think.

Got solar film and car mat from sales. Converted rest of 'freebies' into cash discounts/overtrade. Was offered nano sealant at 280, but decided to go for csII or glare instead.

Just heard that they are offering integrated reverse cam (not the standalone screen one) for 1.5k.

Most items are actually consider std items during a new purchase except they brand it nicer eg throw in this/that... actually buyer is paying for them indirectly. RRP for C180 CGI @ $163,888 but with the recent remarkable drive promo does that amount still stand? If yes then it just another marketing tactics deploy by C&C to attract consumer.

integrated reverse cam, hmmm. sounds good. but does that gonna interfere with the ICE mod i read here for GPS/reverse cam/BT/etc into the Audio 20?

I just missed my coe yesterday. prolly the next round. Also curious is the start/stop function to conserve fuel. heard it from foreign forums and news. there is not elucidation on it here in sg....

No, it doesn't. If I'm not wrong, according to the specification sheet I have, only the C350 comes with it.

As for the integrated camera, mine doesn't have. Mine is the one that is next to the rearview mirror... quite ugly but at least quite handy. And importantly, free!

C&C reverse cam is locally installed aft mkt type with a small boxed LCD display.

Some PI installed aft mkt mmi which integrate the RC display on the Audio 20 screen. Engine Start Stop option currently not available in SG.

I saw the small small pathetic looking monitor beside the rearview mirror.... looks like it just dropped the car's bhp and torque by 20%....

As for the start/stop, think its the ecu program? meaning , tweak-able?

As for the bank loan, the 1.99 no frills package beats the rest , hands down. unless u need some cash upfront. I had a friend who can pay everything in cash, but choose not to pay a cent upfront, so she picked the 3.38 one. well, to each, his own. ^^

Will love to see the mods u guys have invested, especially the comand/Audio20... its... contagious, after reading the ICE threads... some pix will go a long way. =)

True. It's oso too small to be useful. Thinking of omitting whatever "free" accessories they are giving and go for an outright discount. Can prob get cheaper and better outside.

IIRC C & C out sourced the RC & locally installed reverse sensors(Not Parktronic) to TOMO-CSE.

Tomo-Cse also do leather upholstery.

We are trying to organize a Group Installation for Command which C&C option cost >$10k+ which is also usually not available and they do not do retrofit.

So you might wanna consider that!

For the after market mmi it depands what U wanna add on.

(GPS, DVD with USB, DTV, Reverse Camera,etc)

IIRC, it's from $1800 up!

Wow, seems like its a must-do mod. Should have known what to ask for earlier, got a friend to buy from C&C without much freebies. tsk. no mats, but have few hundred MB merchandise voucher tho. Must admit, those vouchers aint very useful with very limited products.
