Good buy! This is 1 of the few last W211 which

Mercedes threw in lots of things which the earlier W211 didn't get. eg. 18" wheels, full avantgarde trim, color lcd audio 20 screen with BT.

Join us in our mthly GTG on the last Sun of each mth at Kallang Stadium Car Park F from 4.30 pm onwards.

Single, Couple or Families are all welcome.

Our this month GTG should fall on Sun 29th Aug '10.

Hope you can join us there and enjoy your stay in this forum too!

Thanks for the assurance that I have made a good choice. In fact, I was still deliberating until the final moments between BMW 523/525 and this car. In the end, I guess I went for the reliability and lower depreciation... I would say... a more prudent choice. I was priced out of a 166k 230E which was great. Came with AMG kit as well. Again to me... not a very prudent choice.

Sundays are bad for me as my daughter have swimming classes at the exact same time. But really... thanks for the offer and the warm welcome.

BTW, I was also comtemplating AMG kit... got a quote for $7k not inclusive GST from Benzline. Too much IMHO.... 10 years ago I spent more than that on a Lorinser kit for my then C200 and 6k on rims. Those days are gone... now older.... wiser.... and more careful with $$.

oh 523i/525i but E200 not comparable to this 2 variants as E200 is 4cyc vs 6cyc (and BMW are famous for their IL6, sweet and creamy) but interior wise Merc nicer la....

Ya... I have driven my friend's 523i... it is definitely a sweeter drive with the 6cylinders and superior handling. But I still picked E200 in the end because of lower depreciation, maintenance and reliability. Very close battle between heart (BMW) and mind (Merc).... but really my merc is an easy compromise... driven it for 2 days and no regrets.
