DRL for W204

I think the DRL really looks cool. So much so that I called up Rick of carlsson to order one for my w211. However, when I asked him regarding LTA rules, he mentioned that may need to put black tape over the lights when inspection comes. Like this also can meh?

I dont think LTA is bothered by the DRL. The DRL looked just like factory fitted. More so with the integrated fog lights. All W204 comes with foggy. Right?

Well, will know when i send my for inspection 30 months from now.

For infro,even is factory fitted FOG lights u can't switch it on as per LTA regulation, but is it legal to switch on DRL while driving? I guess no news is good news!! But if yr DRL is white light & the headlight is orange color do u think it's looks nice? If no, then u will wanna change yr entire headlight to white or HID light which is confirm illegal. Then again, u do a count on the road how many cars are on HID & is legal?

Mine is W211 Avantgarde.... got xenon so don't need to change headlights... even my fog lights are white... not sure if it comes stock or previous owner changed though. :whistle:

My car silver... so need silver tape lor.... :whistle:
