Hi all, I am looking at either 17" rims or 18" rims for the W204. Do they have to be staggered for the front and back? It would make rotation a hassle if so. Many thanks in advance for all advice. Cheers.

Go to Hurry or Leong Seng or any tyres shop ask them for advise. If on staggered means u cant rotate the rims.

cheers

Staggered or Non Staggered Rims for W204.

This site will give U pretty accurate information on rim sizes, wheel offsets, staggered sizes, etc. for your W204 OEM Mercedes/Brabus/AMG

I'm getting a C200 CGI with 17" 6-twin spoke AMG rims. If cost outlay is the same for both, would be it better to get staggered or not? Also, assuming it's better to get all the same for rotation of tires due to maintenance cost, between 225/45 and 245/40, which ones would you go for?

I would suggest 18" & staggered rim / tyres for the looks & handling. Also, change to lowering spring too.

The staggered rims will be that different visually?

Nopey, infact most of us would prefer the rear flushes with fender as much as possible. Is for e looks & handling purpose.

So meaning if I'm a mild driver who doesn't usually do more than 3k rpm, I should go for all equal size? =)

Hmm RPM doesn't matter, is yr needs & wants. After the rims mods, driver will be fm mild to wild is a norm :).

Hahaha. Is there a big difference in price between the 17" 6-twin spoke AMG versus the 18" 5 AMG spoke ones?

Hmmm. Seems like I still prefer the look of the 6-twin spoke though it's 17". Heading down tomorrow. =)

Fellas, where's the best place to get original AMG rims? I've decided to go for staggered (which means all wheels will flush with fenders perfectly?) 18" twin 5 spokes.

To get it flush u needs to check e offset with e rim/tyres guy. Putting spacer is one method too. Good luck remember to post pics here ya!!

Ooi! Me no Warren hor! Mai luan luan khong!

You forget to add, "Just do it, life is short!"

To TS's question, 18inch staggered can't be wrong, swee swee no horse run one. Whether mild or wild never mind, cannot rotate also never mind, car looks nice can already, will definitely make heads turn. Anyway since already spent so much on the car lio, the slight premium you pay for the upsize rims and flush looks will be priceless!

Just do it! Good luck!
