Dear all. I have seen a C&C E200 with AMG bodykit with twin exhaust, also a E250 with AMG with twin exhaust. Please can someone enlighten me because I know that E200/250 is only 1 exhaust instead of 2. Or is it get AMG bodykit can choose 2 exhaust. Or if it's fitted in workshop, which workshop to approach?

Thank you guys.

Yes, you should have the option of the AMG exhausts system, which is quad pipes and it is approved by LTA if it is tailored to that car model. Check with the usual shops...KBS, C&C etc....cheers

AMG Sport package cums with twin L/R single exhaust with the AMG rear bumper & diffuser.

Benzline can also sell U the right side exos and diffuser to have twin L/R or quads!

Benzline can give you a "few alternatives" for twin/quad exos depending on your budget!

Cheapest option is to buy their right exos IIRC is S$1k+ and cut your current diffuser (according to them, the provision to cut is there on the existing bumper).

You mean just buy the right side exos and get it installed justl like that? Do we need to send it for vicom for inspection? This mod is only for the aesthetic and does not improves the sound of the exhaust system.

Vicom do not give approval for exos mods except LTA!

I think if U look underneath your chassis, there's a provision for running

another exos on the right side.

So hopefully after doing it, no body the wiser since W211 also cums with L/R exos & also the AMG sport package too.

Yes! Purely for aesthetic nia! U wanna more noise arh!!! Drill some holes to your muffler lol!.....muhahahah!

Try this lah!

Click the link & listen to the sound see suit U or not!

err LTA is the approval authority & Vicom is the place where u obtain e certification. Before u can send yr ride for inspection from Vicom, make sure the vendor is authorise to sell by LTA. Of course any vendor can sell the exhaust & claims comes with simi TUV is pointless bcos is meant for Europe ctry not sillypore. In short, without LTA authorise vendor, u r unable to obtain certification from Vicom. Orh, e workshop must be authorise too. For example u get it from C&C but install at else where, Vicom won't allow for inspection.

As for provision for the Y-joint is it by bolt on or welding? If welding then is better make sure LTA friendly, else just get it done as life is short :).

For noise, remove e cat or operate the muffler at yr own risk!!! Lolz

Not necessary from distributor lah!

U can also get approval yourself too!

Unker has personally got my previous W203 Lorinser R/L exos bought from Benzline approved by LTA and also got a choice to be inspected by either LTA Engineering or any Vicom.

LTA gave me approval in principle to the exos mode after my submission of all the necessary toilet paper (TUV cert with relevant part numbers, brochure, sketch before/after).

Then Unker chose 1 good lunar day, sent it to Vicom Changi for inspection. (Near my house mah!)

At the inspection, they found the part number stamped on the exos diff. from the TUV cert but they wanted to pass me after the pollution & noise tests.

Uncle dun wan them to pass the exos and went back to Benzline.

Benzline has sold me the W203 M111 engine exos and not M271 exos.

Benzline then flew in the right exos for Unker, installed and go back to Vicom Changi again. My kudos to them!

IIRC I paid $55 and NTUC member got discount that time.....hahahah!

After that Vicom gave me a letter not smlc certificate for passing the inspection for the exos.

Now that letter seat in my Bro W203 glove compartment! Wanna see or not?....hehehe!

Vicom Car inspection never check? - Depend U heng or sway!

On my 2nd time car inspection, the mechanic on the last station came out of the pit and told me my exos not std.

I showed him the Vicom lao yah hu - he lan lan went back to the pit!

I dun think the situation has changed muchie!

A few mths back, I heard 1 Audi kaki got his capristo exos for his RS4 approval all done himself individually lah! - Not through any distributor, workshop or agent!

Thank U for reading another episode of Unker superman stolies.....muhahahaha!:becky:

Most important is the relevant part numbers with it relevant TUV cert!

Once U get that, it's a walk in the park!

That time, I wrote to Lorinser & they faxed my copies of the exos stating the part numbers, meant for which model & engine, passed all relevant noise & pollution, blah, blah, blah!

After U get that, U write to LTA Eng. Dept with supporting brochures & sketches!

Anyone wanna know more, can pm me lol.

The shape of the E250 twin exhaust is semi-oval?

Are the exhaust integrated nicely like those in the E350 pictures from the link below?

Not only C&C AMG Sport package comes with twin L/R oval exos but I've seen them with PI cars too. The oval L/R exos looks like standard in the AMG Sport Package.

Bro Randy,

U are right! This looks like a PI E250cgi AMG Sport package which converted

the rear bumper with L/R trapezoidal exos.

End of the day - lots of things can be done with $$$ depending on what the

owner wants.

Look at this Honda modded to look like an Audi.....maybe we should call it

Auda or Hondi.....hehehehe!:becky:

C and c cars won't come factory fitted with twin exhaust for e200 amg and e250 amg. Only e300 and above with amg will cone with twin exhaust..

I believe E350 with L/R trapezoidal exos is standard.

AMG Sport Package 950 comes with L/R Oval exos even for E250.

Hi Kepiting1sg, the E350 original from C&C is L/R oval....which is what i am having...

The trapezoidal is nice....i think we have to change the entire back bumper to fit in the trapezoidal exos...anyone done that?

I think one Bro could have done it - Bro Bombul

His ride has the AMG Sport package, so he has L/R exos

while my ride has only 1 side.

If I am not wrong, you can change the diffuser and the oval tips to trapezoidal.

Try to visit Benzline - they probably has a solution for U!
