checklist for collecting new car

Hello guys,

Just secured coe for my new ride.

and i was wondering what should i look out for when collecting my car?

one other question. I'm very used to these 2 small little mirror that i stick to the side mirror (to view kerbs when cornering). Anyone has any suggestion as i worry it may not look good sticking that on a saloon car?

If you are getting from C&C, they will prepare a standard checklist and you will need to sign off to indicate that the SE has gone through the checks with you. These are major things that will be critical.

Something that may not be in the checklist will be:

1) swirl lines and scratches on the car (you can do much except to get them to polish off)

2) loose parts - plastics, joints, trims, etc (replacement?)

3) extra accessories (my reverse camera not fixed on day1 - SE didn't realise!)

4) Tyre pressure

5) weird sound?

Yes, from C&C.

i was told its an after market reverse camera and gps. Hmm..did not ask where it should be mounted?

For the weird sound, i guess can only find out after i drive off.
