Reverse camera on W212

Hi,

Is it possible to install a reverse camera that integrates into the standard Audio20 in W212?

If yes, any idea approx how much this will cost?

Yes! Can be done but may not worth the $$$ if just installing a Reverse Cam.

Baically U need a multi media interface to connect the RC.

Beside RC, U might at the same time wanna consider adding a GPS, DVD Player or even Digital TV.

A RC alone can cost <$100 or as much as $500 just for the cam.

The interface, labor & cam will easily set U back by $1k+.

Thanks Bro Kepiting, I did see your posting, is the Garmin GPS easily updated?

Also, I saw your recent post on E250 Avantgarde AMG, mind PM me the dealer? the price seems quite good, this is the model I am interested :-), still looking around, I think I am set for PI, but prices a bit crazy at the moment, I am hoping the quiet sales will help reduce price a bit..

Was not able to PM U the info base on your forum setting!

Last heard their prices dropped $3k+

Why did not took up!

a. AD trade in $$$ muchie better than PI by a mile

b. No keyless - this 1 me & my wife both of us cannot live without it

c. No media interface - this one I told myself before - next merc die die must have

d. CO like dark ash wood and dun want alu trims - told her I checked Benzline ash wood trims $3k+ still worth it!

e. CO & myself alike - we lup the AD electric roller blind & side window blinds

f. CO still suffer post traumatic exp with previous PI Q5.

g. Last but not least CO had the final say....muhahahah! :becky:

Hi Kepiting,

I have also enquired PI before heading to C&C. In addtions to what you have stated, my PI also differ in the followings:-

1. No tray in rear boot.

2. OMV is around 9K lower than AD.

advantages are:-

1. overall price is $18K cheaper.

2. i will get 18" rims.
