Mr.M u know how to tune up a E200? Care to share yr knowledge?

Dunno, but I know it can be done... My friend and I are doing research for it. Brabus does it for the E200 CGI and E250 CGI: http://www.speedlux.com/brabus-releases-ecu-upgrade-for-blueefficiency-models-of-mercedes/

Heard it cost S$2-3k! After I heard that, didn't bother looking further... :bounce:

haha... is u.. okok... becos in the thread no picture but juz a URL link so i just saved the links for reference. But that is a gd one to prevent buyer from kanna con by PI :) The E class sport trim is confirmed 3 circles only as seen in PI showroom. Not sure anyone is driving such a model here? can help to confirm too.

yes our COE already secured few months ago... not possible to get an ex stock then becos we wanted a YOM10 model and b4 Mar'10 then... everything is YOM09 only in SG showrm. Hence PI has to indent stock for us.

Furthermore, UK side has no more autobox as standard for E200 starting from this year. Anyone who wants to get a auto E200 will need to indent from factory. Well.. part of the waiting time package for us.

Anyway looking forward to the collection :)

Ah I see. Yes, that is what I heard for the E200 too. The change from 'Elegance' to 'SE' trim.

Well, hope you'll get your car soon, can have a W212 GTG!

Likely to be something like a piggy back ecu just like the Kleemann.

With a claimed 30 bhp increase, U will be probably lucky to get >10 bhp at the wheels and also not losing out on low end torque.

Not something like what can be done to vag cars with a simple flash of the ecu to see >50 bhp increase by remapping the ecu.

Actually... Main reason why I'm thinking of tuning is because the low-end torque is pretty lacklustre now for the E250... I feel lah. It can be improved. Don't really need the top-end power.

Dun think there's any solution as the merc ecu is locked!

U will be better off installing a SB to give U the "instantaneous response effect".

Just ran in the car at 1500km last week with a drive to East Coast P Redang

& back! Car did pretty well and pretty happy with it!

This one not like your gti or my audi lah....hahaha!

Sit back & enjoy the comfort!:becky:

What's a SB? Oh right. Sprint booster.

Awesome. I'm looking forward to the next long trip. I expect the E to do very well! Pulau Redang is beautiful BTW... Do share some photos!

Yes, I keep telling myself that... :becky:

Enquired with PI and really got me confused. What spec 1,2,3 etc....???

My advise if buying from PI, make sure available stock, then check every options and its omv. The closest i got is 12.3K cheaper than C&C (factor in C&C 10K overtrade). But OMV for PI car is 7K lower.

That eventually make me decide to go with C&C.
