Anyone saw the Ad on ST today. New C Class with LED Daylight Running with Command AP..etc...

Wondering if it fit on our existing ride?

Quite keen in the LED Running Daylight which replaced our Fog Light currently.

It doesn't come as a standard. U need to pay abt 5k on top of the list price to buy with factory fit. I personally think it's not worth it plus like copy Audi become downgrade our mercs ride. How can Audi compare to us? Our original fog light is much more nicer.

Depends, once they are hungry, they will throw in everything for you. Must strike at the right time!!! For 5K is worth it for ppl whom are worried abt warranty, legal issues bla bla.

Called C & C.......currently they have no intention to bring in C250CGI and the ads on last Sunday is standard for world-wide usage. You want bi-xenon and navigation system got to pay $$$ to order nnb Mercedes SG chute pattern to entice people. Understand now you order the C200 will be TC instead of SC. I've tested E250CGI and must say torque comes in early, bhp is there for you to summon....I doubt BMW 525 IL-6 engine can match the power delivery of the new MB 1.8 turbo charged engine. Just curious....does anyone know the cost break-down of PI C250CGI + bi-xenon + navigation system + AMG package?

Hi Arsenal. Its a real pity C&C won't bring in the C250 CGI. Will they be bringing in the C200CGI though?

Which PIs bring in the C250CGI? Don't see any listing on SGCARMART

thanks!

Yes, C&C is bringing in the C200 CGI. I just ordered it 2 weekends ago.

Spoken to my SE , and she is not sure if they will be bringing in theC250. Even if they are, it will probably be end of the year ..... well ... that's what she told me

You sure or not?

The 525 comes with 218 bhp and 250 Nm

Although the torque is the same, it has more than 50 horses over yours...

The general feeling of acceleration is the torque figures.

C180CGI max torque of 250Nm arrives at 1600rpm (and stay there till 4200 rpm) .. compared to 525i's max torque of 270Nm arriving at 2750rpm.

And kerb weight of C180CGI is 1495kgs compared to 525i's 1605kgs...

Although 525i's max hp is 218bhp ... it arrives only at 6100rpm, while C180CGI's max 156bhp arrives at 5000rpm.

Another thing is C180CGI's Cd 0.28 is more slippery than 525i's 0.31

That said, 0-100 for C180CGI is 9.0 sec while 525i is 7.7sec...

So, the initial 0-60 km/h or so, C180CGI will seem to be slightly ahead,... but 525i will catch up.

C200CGI with 270Nm 184bhp 1505kgs will give 525i a hard time.

Thanks bro

But I suspect the C180CGI looks better on paper than in real life...

I have previously driven beemers (4 already) and despite the seemingly low power and torque, they are very under-rated...

And I suspect the 525 will not just catch up but will blow past the C180CGI with ease since its 0-100km/h is a good 1.3sec faster...

The C180CGI will run out of puff at 5k while the 525 is just getting into its stride :P
