Hi all, I had a chat with MBM and they have indicated that they are open to a group buy of at least 10 pieces of the non-adjustable ones at $360 each(usual price approx $390+).

Installation expected to be done at MBM once everyone has confirmed so do list your name down. This is for ALL makes and models of mercs (as long as mbm stocks them) so hurry 1st 10 only saves $$ !!

Expect the group buy to close by the end of March or when all slots are taken up !

theres a 3-drive out for w204.

i suggest we get this instead.

its much cheaper than SB and more impt, can be tuned for sensitivity.

hi bro. pivot and 3 drive are different brands. but they have the same function. i know a guy selling... i can try to see if he can help. will update u

They are referring to the same thing:

No point i think for the pivot 3 drive and so on. Too many buttons to setup all the time will confuse the rest of the family, the sprint booster is much easier once setup no more buttons to calibrate and set = less things to go wrong. Besides already have sport mode on the C200 with SB should be even better !

Anyways guys this is a Group Buy thread so kindly stick to topic for those interested. Can always open another thread to discuss other throttle controlling devices elsewhere thx for the general interest tho. Will be closing this Group Buy by the end of this mth !

I have bben doing a lot of homework on the Sprint Booster and I have to say I am convinced, but at what price?

Also been looking at the Pivot 3 Drive Japanese web site, I notice two things:

1. Mercedes does not seem to be listed (Pls correct me if I am wrong)

2. Pivot 3 Drive needs to be connected to a +12v power rail.

The Sprint Booster that is on group buy (non adjustable) here is passive per se, another words it is a module that simply plugs in serially between your Accel pedal position potentiometer and the wiring loom.

You are asking about what is this pivot 3 thingy, and I'm just sharing what I know.

Adjustability is good if different drivers are sharing the same car, not all drivers can get used to the 'immediate' throttle, and it can be dangerous to non experienced drivers at times.
