I had just changed my stocks light to Projector light with angel eyes on my W203. However, the light seem not bright enough even though i changed to a 4300K white hologen bulb. The light also seem to scatter around. Anyway to increase the intensity? or do i need to focus the lens? Any bros kindly advice? Attached is the picture.

Cheerz!

OK! Will take some nite shots. The angel eyes is CCFL & its bright enough. However, the normal H7, 430K hologen bulb is not bright & not focus too.

Can i change to aftermrk HID on my normal projector headlight?

Yes! U can!

"Cheap HIDs" goes <$100

Heard BlackMerc said Philips got offer at $300+

IMHO "cheap HIDs" might have outgassing effect i.e they emit gases during use and in the long term corrode the reflective lining on your

headlamps.

Hi Bro, care to share where i can get it for <100? As i am using a China made projector lamp, i think a cheap HID will do the job.

Hi! Bros! Thanks for the recommendation! I was speaking to one seller from ebay & he told me that HID will cause on board error as the normal blub uses abt 55W & HID only abt half the power, thus, the computer will think it is an error. He also said that can be rectify by using a electronics component to rectify the problem. How har? Can Amy recify this problem?

Tommy, I'm not sure about your W203, but a lot of bros here with W204 and CLC didn't have this problem. Anyway, Amy is quite a 'steady' supplier, she can do a simple trial on your car and see if there's any error or not. Best thing to do is to talk to her and go to her workshop and let them test. If it works pay for it, if it doesn't work you can just go off without buying. I think she has the error cancellor as well if your car needs it, but will cost extra money lor.

Good luck!

I had a W203 & I retrofit with Hella Proector Lamp.

After instal lamp sometime bot working. Went bk workshop & get into the Prog Diagnostic to enable Xenon present.

Nowadays if got problem, most shop & probably @ Amy should have "error cancellor". So have no worries!

I had error on my Audi foggies & cancellors solved the problem ($30).
