Hi just need to check with the bros that have bought Amy's HiDs any issues so far ? Considering the ones from amy or the philips ones now that the price for the philips have dropped to approx $300

Philips now asking for $300, HID type? That is a good price, but if you compare the aftermarket HID and Philips, the latter is not as bright. Many bros here got the HID from Amy, so far no news is a good news.

contacted Amy today and new shipment arriving next week...probably go down end of next week to change my HID & fog lights...anyone want to join me?...maybe can nego for better deal :whistle:

Amy (not Yip) is selling the HID for $100. So $130 including installation should be fair.

But if Philips is only $300ish, then it might be better to go for Philips. I paid about $500 for Philips a year ago.

Just to clarify, I didn't buy the HIDs from Amy, but I bought 8000k D1S bulbs from her for my bmw, and I'm very satisfied with the bulbs and installation done by her workshop.

If going to install only low beam, my advice is to go for Philips. But if you're going to install low beam, high beam, fogs like bro lightning, then it might be worth it to install Amy's ones as the total cost difference for 3 sets is quite substantial.

Oh to add, for 3 sets, price should be $100 x 3 plus labour, and not $130 x 3. Nego with her!

Hey, where is this place ..I am also interested ... my W211 pre FL is all stock bulb ....any idea how much it would cost me to change all of them from the small to big and then FOG...thanks and I can go down with you guys...or you guys have AMY contacts

Amy's hp: 91933990 (I must have typed this more than 5 times!). Her workshop is somewhere at Geylang Lor 17 near to the durian stores. Give her a call and make arrangements with her.

Each set of HID is $100. Labour charge should be $30 onwards depending on how many sets you change.

BTW, I'm not related to her at all. Just find her prices and services good and so recommend to the bros here.

My advice is to install them at her workshop, so if there's any problems it can be resolved right away. Not advisable to buy and install elsewhere, one bro here has been there done that, and there's a long long story to that....

Strange.... the last time I went down few months ago was at Geylang, and the workmanship there is quite good.
