It used to be $200+ for a W203 battery. I remembered I got a shock the first time I saw the battery when it was taken out of the car. It is bigger than the usual car battery that I had seen.

I changed mine again just a couple of months back by AA. It cost about $305. So I guess the price for W203 battery should be around the $300 range today.

Like they said old man dun need much sleep cos they scare they die in their sleep....muahahaha!

Aiyah! Paris farmway arh? Just gip a shout and I will be there. 5 mins away from my house nia!

2 ways usually batteries died on U.

1. End of cycle life - this 1 got warning one - with weaker & weaker engine cranking day by day.

2. Internal short circuit - this 1 will die on you suddenly without warning - like kenna heart attack....muahahaha!

Didn't know retail prices of batteries gone up so much.....but in the OEM business....selling prices sulks!

Buyers always ask for price down, then charge enduser a bomb! :1mfinger:

Good thing sold the W211 - It has 2 batteries to replace....hehehehe!

Si bei jia lat....

Maybe your No Battery lah......hahha

When facing the car, with the bonnet open. Its on the extreme right near to the dashboard frame. Its below the Air con Circulation Box box say 12' x 8" black plastic box. Not the engine air inlet housing. Must remove the airbox to enable to see. The box can be removed easily with 3 spring latch (No need tools). i have remove mine and took picture on first day of collection of car, curious.

Apart for protection from dust, wats the use of the cover we have over the C class battery?

Seems like the cover oso got 2 lobangs connected to the car body, near to dashboard. s

Appears to me womething like for air ventilation.

Can anyone enlighten me on this?

TIA!!
