CARLUBE engine oil

Anybody used Carlube fully synthetic engine oil? Was at Carreefour this afternoon - saw that 5L going for $29+ only... can our W124 use this? Anybody with any experience to share?? Thanks.

Had used it on my wife's Hyundai for 5 years nw.

No issue at all.

Wow.. that sounds good. So it sounds like our MB can also use it too?? Then it will save a lot of $$$$ on our pockets leh...

mate.. check the oil specifications on the labels of the oil bottle.. if suitable for your car.. then you shd have no problems.. always check the speficifations of oil on the internet and find out if suitable for your car model....

I am not sure if it is psychological nut I sense the .5 makes my 211 smoother and quieter. usually cheaper only meets the .3 specs of MB

I recommend the cheap SHELL oil in major super markets like Giant & Courfarre. (it is .5 spec)

buy 3 bottles in one shot and use for 2 service as one service for the 211 takes about 6L
