Rebranding of SLK280 to SLK300 - happening in Singapore?

hey all,

i've been reading a lot in forums / articles on the web that the SLK 280 would be rebranded as SLK 300 this year.

Is that happening in Singapore? The SLK350s with the 300+ hp came with the FL models... was wondering how come SLK280 wasn't rebranded with the facelifts..

Anyone knows?

Hi,

The SLK300 logo is only used in the US market. Asia is still using SLK280, even though both are facelifted models.

hope they will souped up the next SLK200 SC become Turbo n rebrand SLK250......

then SLK280 Turbo (SLK300) and finally SLK350 Turbo.....

SLK300 rebranding only for the US market huh? No wonder a lot of car sales folks gave me a bewildered look when I told them that I would like to wait for the SLK300.... since the SLK280 was going to be phased out soon...

also went to bid for license plate number today... SJT series closing today - wah loozzz. just made it in time.. with 10 minutes to spare.
