K&N filters

Anyone recently installed this? Does it affect warranty? Where can I get it off the shelf or do I have to order it?

i got mine from Driven performance.

But I have been hearing things that it not good for your air flow sensor due to the oil in the filter.

better air-flow so better response....not really gain hp.........

good plugs play a part..............plug booster as well..........

ECU re-mapped?

K&N filter is oil based. Apparently, the oil will get to air flow sensor and screw it up. Hurriancane is steel filter so less likely to have problem.

I have been running on my K&N for 9 months problem free but it doesnt really make any difference to power either

I have after market air filters. But never felt any difference at all Jeff. Totally nothing. So I say save your money, even if your backside is itchy for some mods.. :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

Yup just slightly better response but if more feel then maybe tunekit may be a better option
