I have a question on the Keyless go system on my E200.

My front doors are supposed to be able to unlock by just pressing the black square button when teh key is nearby.

However the 2 front doors stopped working 2 days ago.

the back doors still can be opened.

Anyone know what is the problem and if possible where i can repair it?

Hi,

Pardon me but why do you need to press the button to unlock your car?

Keyless GO should be, pull the handle to unlock and press button to lock car.

Cheers.

hi,

the keyless go system is very sensitive to new wiring if you have installed new audio / video gadget in your merz.

2 weeks ago, i installed a reverse cam and LCD monitor and due to the ground cable of the LCD monitor, the front door keyless button failed. i moved the ground cable to another spot and everything is ok now.

if not, u may hv to go back to C&C. hope this helps. regards, allen
