Belated thanks to all for advice. Took long time to consider. Finally took the plunge and booked W211 E230. Somehow design of W212 takes time to get used to.

I own a E230 marc 2007 model that does not come with the extended exhuast pipes (left and right). The later month in 2007 has got that fitted as a standard kit.

Anyone know where I can get a nice set of those exhaust pipe to add on?

Join us in our mthly GTG which is the last Sunday of each mth at Kallang Stadium Car Park F from 4.30 onwards. The next one will be this Sunday 26th Sep '10.

IIRC

Look underneath your rear bumper, U should see that U have actually left & right exhaust muffler boxes but they dun extend out thru the rear bumper.

For the cheaper option, U can cut your bumper and add exhaust tips Double(single L/R) or Quads (double L/R) from Benzline.

If U want the original look, U may have a choice to buy a new bumper that have provision for L/R exhaust.

Or U might wanna consider buying an original AMG63 rear bumper with diffuser which U can add quad tips or buy a replica AMG53 rear bumper with diffuser too.

All this can be arrange with Benzline for the parts and the workshop to do the conversion.

My previous FL W211 E200K I converted the rear bumper from an used AMG55 rear bumper and an after market CF diffuser. The tips were bought from Benzline.

Hi Marshall,

The 4 oval tips with AMG stamped on them cost me $500 from Benzline.

The CF Diffuser - I got it on-line for $300+

The used AMG55 Bumper plus spray painting & installation cost me another $1700

To instal the tips to the existing pipes - another $300 (need piping fabrications - a few hours job)
