New E200 2016 model

Any idea when the new E200 2016 model will be out in Singapore. My COE expired end May this year.

I am told it is already on sale in the UK now!

Once the Edition E is sold out, they will launch the W213.

I am guessing May or June 2016

Was told that likely to be last quarter of the year. Hence in law took the current model and will change to the 'new', 'new' model in 7 yrs time

From my experience, it is a huge mistake to knowingly buy a model that is about to be replaced.

Yes, the outgoing model is heavily discounted (but not heavily enough) but the difference in valuation between the models, even if the difference is a few months, will be worlds apart.

My fault - I succumbed to sales talk when the salesman told me the new model will not arrive until the end of the year, 12 months later.

After I got my car in Dec, the new model was launched in April or May (I can't remember exactly, I chose to forget).

I cried uncontrolably whenever I saw my neighbour washing his newer model.

Yes, I have memory seats and his does not have but his is a newer body style and I am wearing last year's fashion.

The grass over there was much greener. 

I refused to ever deal with that salesman.

That sounds really sucky. But, my in laws got not much choice since their current vehicle gotta be scrapped by June and they didn't mind getting the 'old' model at a good price.

its like some people are ok with buying Iphone 4 in year 2015. as long as its a phone can call and whatsapp that's enough. bigger screen not important.
