I know I can switch modes while the car is in motion but will it damage the car?

I remember the SE did that during test drives. So maybe its ok to do that? Not sure.

Many cars have the option to do so and nobody has complained so far that the car got damaged from changing the drive mode while driving. Usually the button just tells the ECU which drive mode, or the compression of the shocks the driver wants to use, which is all electronically controlled. Don't see why it'll cause any worry about damaging the car.

LYH - don't believe what SE says or does... when in doubt check the manual or with experts better
