Dip light error / replacement

Hi All

(tried to search but cant find similar results..)

need some advice for my w204.

have a dip light error now = suspect its simply light blown?

anyone know if i can just drive in to any sponsor workshop /chip soon/ auto spritz to get it rectified immediately?

i just need the stock light bulb.. any idea on the reasonable cost $$$ if i change a pair of head lamp light bulb? i read that sometimes the wiring may melt too...

please share any experiences!

Hi, I had this error on the left two weeks ago. Went to chip soon, change and go. 5 minutes job. Price is S$14/pcs. I advice you to change both as yesterday mine right one is down and went to chip soon yesterday to change out. Mine is W204 and 3 years old and think is about time to replace.

just an update was at chip soon and over done with in 5min

brand : nam yung (eaglite) H7

halogen

12v 55w

made in korea

14 $ each

the weird thing is i asked can last how long, mention depend on usage..

i ask can last at least a year? than no comment...

anyway just to share!

I carry spare bulbs in the glove box.

 

When the bulb blown I just change it in the car park, less than 5 minutes job.

 

Here's a tip, if you have a blown dip light and you need to continue your journey but don't have a spare bulb.

 

Pull the high beam bulb and swap it over, provided there are the same type (i.e. both H7)
