Bro, personally for myself i dont do machine wash nor washing done by others (unless the person follows my washing procedures n uses my car wash materials) becos i am very very particular about my car paintwork which i dont want scratched thru car washing.

Even when due to extreme circumstances when i really need an emergency car wash, i would go to a manual car wash and have the guys there spray water to rinse off, then spray on the soap foam n then spray again to rinse off..... absolutely no cloth/sponge contact with my car.

So for me personally its not about the costs but its about a personal preference.
