why you need the pouch when putting the key straight into your pocket would be a better choice.... having the pouch only makes it bulky...

Yup, should be able to button. Pouch is meant for one key which is your Merc key. My logo is still intact after over 3 years of use.

Hi quah,

Am using the key pouch given as welcome gift. Initially have the same problem as u, unable to lock the button it in place. Button it up n give it sometime to season the contour, then it'll be in place.

As for the home keys, I've used key ring with black colour detachable clip(male/female) use for identification/card key.

The male clip side will be screwed together outside of the pouch, while the female side is attached to the key ring together with the keys. U'll bound to have some marks around the surface area. So when u send yr car for service, u only need to detach the clip n hand over yr car key.

Hi, new to Mercedes. The leather key pouch is really nice. First question, after attaching my Keyless, the button won't click, is this by design? 2nd question, how to attach home keys to it? Or it's not meant to? :)

Still virgin so it is tight and hard for the botton to clip. TLC clip it a few times, once seasoned, it will be easy next time... no lub needed.

Oops no offences intended, meant to make the above it humourous.

@jtang thanks. Where buy?

@griffin can post pic, interested to see your solution.

For me, my home keys are in a ring which I can't attach directly to the leather holder "stem", too thick. So I used another ring to attach to the ring holding the keys, like a figure 8. Awkward but still ok.

I reckon I will drop my key a few times a year no matter how careful I am, so got to protect.
