I got the above situation where both my driver and front passenger headrest have come off lose. I didn't get into any collision, so I don't think its been triggered. The headrest cannot be adjusted anymore and feel as if like parts have come off loose inside.

I'm driving a '07 C200. Mechanic said have the replace the whole headrest. Anyone know if this can be repaired or restored without replacement? Please let me know and thanks!
