Auto stop/start disrupting audio

Hi gurus,

 

Anyone fitted ICE and had audio going off & returned when engine restarted? What is your solution?

Do you have a processor? When it starts from Eco stop it'll have a pop sound is it?

I'm on 3 ways. Don't hear a pop. I have a capacitor but still having this issue.  Any experts willing to shed some lights?

Wonder whether can install a separate battery for the hifi system, connected n charge togather with existing battery . I believe it can be done, this prevent battery "drain" in high power system.

Hi Griffin, I have a 1 farad capacitor and maybe I need 2 farad instead. I'm hoping someone here might tell me 1 farad is enough. And so I can stream it down to wiring or processor issue (I read someone had similar issue w. PXA-H800 processor).

When yr sound system is off, check the Cap value b4 it turns on again, U'll Know the minimum required voltage.

Try disabled the Eco Start/stop mode, if it doesn't turn off, it mean that yr Cap holding capacity is sufficient to drive yr system.

Frm there, U'll know yr required constant voltage. Conclusion maybe u need bigger capacity Cap.

Very unlikely are the wires or processor problem.
