w212 E200 2013 Pre FL Cabin Air Filter(Air-con filter)

Hi guys,

How many air con filters are there? Is the air con filter a different filter from the pollen filter, if there is such a filter in the W212?

Appreciate any advice out there.

I just changed the air con filter myself last week. There is only one. Behind the glove box (ie. passenger side).

Thanks for the tip. I got the air filter at Golden link Bt Merah for $77 with GST. U r rite, there is no pollen filter.

Now just need to figure out the DIY process, cos i googled and couldnt find W212...could only find W211 and older models

OK, let me give you the URL of the video: 

 

But there is a slight difference - W212 has 2 wires to disconnect instead of just 1 shown in the video.

 

Key difficulty is loosening the plastic hook, and the location of the whole thing. Have to do everything kneeling/squatting down beside the car, so wear knee guards if you have them.

Thanks for the URL of the video. I didnt know C300 location is the same as W212

I managed to DIY myself after watching the video. Not so difficult after all.

And i did not wear any knee guards lol

That's great! BTW, does your car have the "metal clips" shown in the video? Mine doesn't have them, not sure whether they don't come with my ride or that whoever changed the filter previously didn't put them back?

 

BTW, if you want to DIY change the engine filter too, let me know…. haha.
