I can understand your anger but There isnt any Traffic Police or Police officer here so i dont think we can help you in anyway .

I dont think from Nos plate you can tell is a rental car....???

Since you have the VRN, go on and make a report at Traffic Police with your witness particular, the IO in charge will carry on from there, You can choose to do the repair yourself first, keep all bills for future claim, or you can also let IDAC carry on from here.... Hope you are answered by me,"a know little thing S'porean".

anyway 9339 is rite... if the damage is bad... u make a report to the police, then ur insurance company with your witness particulars and if possible his statements as well. The IO will take over from there.

But is a long long process.... however, if they managed to find the person, the driver will get fined & demerit points for hit & run...

for some insurance companies, they will not penalise your NCD based on the hit & run police report. You may juz need to fork out your excess for the repair.

Report to your insurance company and do a third party claim. Before the other guy knows it, he will receive the insurance company's lawyer's letter. Hope you have witnesses.
