2 litres should be enough but this oil no need to change .

Carcrazy,tks bro i also think 2 bottle should be enough..as my other car subaru front & rear total 3 bottle as i will change it together with the gearbox oil as i really unleash the beast.

btw why no need to change for merc?

Diff oil in RWD car is not really stress and moreover it is not LSD diff.

 

You will find the oil very clean when you drain it out. So just save the trouble.

 

In Subaru, the diff oil also no need to change, or at least I didn't change mine in those days, for more than 100K over 6 years and nothing happened. But GB oil if change to Syn type, much smoother gear shift.

Carcrazy,tks for the clarification..not really ex thingy.as i have seen many ppl  penny wise end-up pound foolish as i'm 1 of them.lol

as i have been using motul oil since from Yamaha SDR days till now E250 & my Ducati.

Hi,my prefer oil Redline or Motul.my buddy on mine driving suburu using Royal Purple we go track together

got no problem for his car.got a friend inform me Redline burn his clutch.end of the day all depend on car owners.cheers
